RADIO OMEGA is a totally SPANISH,
local neighborhood, community radio station. We broadcast by utilizing
one of
the Federal Communications Commission low power FM
radio frequencies. The coverage area includes most of Lebanon County
and portions of Northern Lancaster and Eastern Dauphin County. The
station is licensed to and operated by the Latino America Media
Organization of Pennsylvania, Inc., as a not for profit educational
media outlet.
Our "address" is 93.1. We
provide the Latino community with music in stereo and information, 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. Our call letters are WOMA-LP, licensed to
Lebanon, PA.
The RADIO OMEGA music consists of
a unique blend of Latin pop, Salsa, Meringue and other music from
Mexico, Central and South America. We take pride in assuring the music
is up to date and only the best for our audience.
Informational programming
is scheduled seven (7) days per week with a variety of programs dealing
with subjects ranging from immigration, to health, the Latino lifestyle
and much more.
RADIO OMEGA presents numerous public service announcements of local,
regional and national content ... helping assure that Latinos are
provided the proper information to become, and remain informed members
of our community.
On the technical side,
our equipment is all stereo employing state of the art technology. Much
of the programming over RADIO OMEGA is digitally generated and
computerized. Our studios are modern, spacious and can accommodate live
guests on the air.
RADIO OMEGA has been part of the local community in Central Pennsylvania since 1998.
We are proud to have grown to what we are today ... the Latino voice of the area.
